Lake Country School of Dance for fun, fitness and friendship!!

It is clear from the moment you walked through the doors at LCSD that this is a different dance school. My son always loved dancing and here he learned the true art of dance and became an aspiring young dancer. LCSD has a high level of training across all genres, and a supportive and family oriented atmosphere. Their outstanding teachers and choreographers and the opportunities they provide for the students through competition, auditions and events like performing in New York at “ Dance The World Broadway” or in Anaheim in Disneyland.  It was his second home and he always felt like part of a family here at LCSD.  Making the decision to move to LCSD was a difficult one and one that we considered carefully, but are so glad we did.

LCSD has provided my daughter with exceptional competitive dance training that resulted in numerous opportunities to prepare her for a career in dance.  Equally as important, the teachers provided her with immense support, love and respect that helped shape the amazing young lady she has become.  LCSD is more than a business - it is a family.  A family that we will be forever grateful for.

In 2012, we were looking for a local dance studio for our 4 year old. Little did I realize what an amazing experience it would be for both of our girls! LCSD has an awesome group of high caliber teachers and staff who are great with the dancers. They provide numerous workshops with guest choreography, health, fitness and team-building. I'm thankful they were able to safely keep my girls dancing through an ever-changing pandemic. After almost 10 years (and multiple team awards) I'm so happy we chose the LCSD family!

LCSD is my home away from home. I've danced at other studios, and there honestly is no comparison. The teachers are so caring but still make us want work harder and dance better. They push us without being mean, and they are like my dance moms. I am so glad I moved here, it is so much more than just a dance studio. It is my dance family.

After 6 years of being blown away, LCSD continues to amaze me, from the teachers to the powerful, emotional performances. Thank you for all that you do and for being positive role models.  We have seen not only seen our kids learn incredible technique but they have made deep connections with teachers and dancers, making friendships that will last a lifetime.  We feel truly blessed to have our girls in the LCSD experience.

All I can say, is that our family LOVES Lake Country School of Dance!  The teachers at LCSD are exceptional at what they do, motivating and challenging our girls to always do their very best through patience and kindness, humour and fun.  Our kids love their teachers beyond words, and I honestly cannot thank them enough for nurturing their passion for dance and for helping them achieve a level of dance we couldn’t have ever imagined possible. Your dedication to your students is remarkable and we love how you value the importance of friendship and mentorship between all the dancers at the studio.
